Course Overview
Geometry includes an in
depth analysis of the concepts of plane, solid, and coordinate geometry. Topics
include logic and proof, parallel lines and planes, triangles, polygons,
perimeter, area, volume, surface area, similarity, congruence, trigonometry,
and analytic geometry. All concepts are also related to real world phenomena.
Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking skills as they relate
to logical reasoning and argument. You will be required to use technology
and manipulatives to discover concepts covered in the course.
